The Melbourne Flower and Garden Show was on at the Exhibition Buildings  from Wednesday 21 March 2018.

I was invited to speak this year on the main stage and on the Diggers stand.

The Diggers stand talk was on Growing Flowers for Bees.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, I’m delighted to have had my book on edible flowers: ‘A Delicious Bunch, growing and cooking with edible flowers’, and my Ecobotanica website nominated for the prestigious Laurels Awards. Each year these awards recognise the expansive work that members of the Horticultural Media Association have undertaken.  I’m delighted to report that A Delicious Bunch was one of only three finalists for the book Laurel prize. The gong went to Angus Stewart and AB Bishop for ‘The Australian Native Garden’.

Here are some highlights of the show and awards.
